-After graduating they went back to Tokyo where Verona learned she was sterile. 
-Adopted Botan at the age of 23
-Had plans on starting up a restaurant with his wife. 
-While in the process of adopting twins Verona passed in a car accident. Process completed.
-Adopted Akira and Akihito at the age of 24. 
-Went in to a depression for a few years but attempted to get out of the slump so he could do better for his children.
-Received a loan from the Yakuza to start up the restaurant at 28.
-Adopted Kon at the age of 29.
