  Dex, Knowing that he has a route to achieve his goal, he's very eager to use any chance he gets. He communicates well with others and isn't anxious about withholder information with teammates. Especially since he knows communication is overall key to many things. He isnt much of the jock type besides athletic, vigorous nature. He is a dude bro kinda guy though and likes bonding with other men. With a lot of sneaking out he did as a kid he developed stealth and carefulness. Good in this sense since it would come in handy being apart of a team that runs off efficiency and practicality. Being in many different places in the bad parts of town, as well as hanging with his dad he's able to sniff out bullshit.

For him single-minded isn't always a bad or a good thing. This just means he's more focused on his overall goal and is willing to do what goes in to achieving it. But if it isn't what he's focused on he isn't as motivated/willing to learn something outside of that. Hasty is also split down the middle since rushing does get the job done fast not effeciently.

Without trying to be he comes off disrespectful, but usually in a light hearted and joking sense. It's something that comes naturally. As well as his vulgarity since he picked up the habit of cursing hearing it at a young age. He can swear like a sailor but still be casual about it. He's compulsive and sometimes unable to hold himself back from temptations he enjoy. This results in his self loathing and constant shit talking himself in his mind. He has many negative thoughts like that and when in a situation of danger his mind leaps to the pessitimistic outcomes first.

BIOGRAPHY

TLDR; Alright childhood til he started getting older. Mom and pops split and mom didn't let him see his dad. Mom working hard and Dex is seeing daddy-o behind her back and started getting in to his nasty habits. Dad is a liar/faker and they stopped seeing each other. Dexter got a girl pregnant due to said bad habits and left home after argument with mom. Wants to be accepted so he won't be a deadbeat dad like his own and can take of his fam like that.

Dexter was closer to his mom and pops in his younger years. As a child he didn't notice much of the conflicts between his parents or their past.

As he got older and entered childhood the tension between his parents became more apparent. His father entered in a midlife crisis that caused him to go back to his old ways of frivolous spending, gambling, and alcohol. This lead in the couple getting separated, not divorced though so they didn't want to deal with the legal and custody issues that followed.

His father dipped out and only called the boy when he was drunk, ranting, or backtracking his actions with regret. Dexter's mother though, didn't want them talking to each other so contact was rare. His mother got a second job to help provide for her son. Any questions he had she tried to answer when she wasn't busy. The woman was getting stressed trying to struggle home life and work life. This resulted her sister coming to stay in the house so his aunt will be able to take care of him while mom was away making ends meet.

In his preteen years he was seeing more of his dad, but without his mom or aunts knowledge since the man would swing by while he was out playing with friends. Being with his dad, he learned a lot about his habits. The man was doing better off now with a younger lady and sporting expensive things. All obtained from illegal activity. Gifts of that nature started coming his way too. At the age of 13 he was sporting a Rolex his dad gave him. His aunt found this hide away under his bed while doing chores and confronted him about it. He tried to lie about it but decided to come clean about seeing his father without his mom's consent.

This lead to a slight downside in the relationship with his mom because of the dishonesty and her wanting to do what's best for him. This caused arguments too which just lead Dexter to seeing his old man more, feeling like his mom was misjudging him.

On to Dexter's teen years now, his father showed him more about the adult life. Shit like girls, alcohol, money making, -- Little did he know most of this wasn't what he thought it was. He found out his father was nothing but a liar and gambler that was now in debt. Soon enough his dad fell off the radar again.

These vices he got hooked on caused him to continue living it up like he had no path to take and spending money of frivolous things. This cause his mother to force him to get a job with the threat of being kicked out. Then came the lecturers of doing something with life and now you're getting in to bad habits like your father. Dexter scoffed at those words and even though he got a job now at a convenient store he kept putting up a front he was something. Flashing and flexing what money and nice possessions he did have got him women and recognition-- similar to how his dad lived. This shit wasn't real.

It took a while, but he started noticing the toll it was taking on his mother as well, and soon came to loathe himself. But these things became addictions and it was hard to just stop, especially to when they worked as a coping mechanism for his own sorrows and guilt.

Now he's 21, and still crashing at his mom's place with two jobs himself to pay back these possessions.

That isn't the end of it, though. He really messed up when one of his one night stands became pregnant. He found out about it weeks later once receiving a call from her and this caused him to panic. This also resulted in another full scale argument with his mom that lead to him leaving home.

"You became like your father."

Keep in mind too, he did not love this woman-- she was just a fling... he now knew he had to take responsibility for now. And he would be lying if he said he never thought about dipping out. After accompanying her to an ultra sound he felt a connection to soon to be offspring. Reflecting over his own life, he came to some conclusions that he didn't want to be a dead beat. So he's striving to better his living conditions so he can provide for this kid. The problem now was how.

After getting off a shift from his second job his phone vibrated. He got some email and opened it while walking. It advertised some applcation that guaranteed that possibility of winning money and power. It didn't long before he downloaded it on his phone since he needs this opportunity.

And by any means was he going to do this and pay back everyone. Get his kid and baby momma a good life as well as giving his mother everything she ever wanted.
